The Poem she comes on gossamer wings

She comes to me on gossamer wings

In rapture deep, how my heart sings

Upon the wind she flies the night

And carries me to lofty heights

Undeserving, I stand in her glow

She beckons me, helpless, I follow

To Earthly ends, I heed her call

                 Forever held in passion's thrall

                             Winsome eyes, and delicate lips

To my heart, love's arrow slips

                 Blessed am I, a treasure I hold

My feelings for her, returned tenfold

A whispered word, her siren lure

Held fast am I, in bliss so pure

I gaze upon her Moonlit face

Sharing with me, her warm embrace

And then, a lasting kiss we share

While we gaze upon a starscape rare

In each other's arms, content, we stay

To await the coming of the day

She comes to me on gossamer wings

In rapture deep, how my heart sings
